Self-catering campsite in a pine forest in the center of a vast natural landscape. Chambord is just a few minutes away by bike along the cycle paths in the forest. You'll be greeted by Tango, our crazy but very sociable young dog. You can also visit our chickens and relax by the river, where you can fish.
Quiet location, but all shops within 5 minutes' walk: bakeries, chemists, supermarkets, butchers and pork butchers, market on Thursdays and Sundays in season.
Various restaurants and catering services are also within walking distance.
The village even has a chocolate factory that you can visit.
In the shade of a 5000m² pine forest, you can sit back and relax in the middle of a 20000m² plot, surrounded by a river.

Electrical outlets are available via an extension cord that can be brought to the camping area.
Wifi available in the vicinity of the house (but not in the camping area itself).

Chambord is easily accessible by bike, and even on foot for good walkers, via forest paths. Cheverny is just over an hour's cycle ride away, on smaller roads.

A very warm and welcoming family! The forest setting really makes you want to bivouac. Beware, however, for less adventurous campers: there are lots of small animals (squirrels, owls...) and insects (wasps, mosquitoes, horseflies...). I recommend :)
Great welcome from Sébastien and his family (not forgetting Tango, the dog!). Tents under the pines in a large, quiet area. Small studio available for travelers, with all facilities for washing and cooking. And if you like, Sébastien can sell you vegetables from his organic garden and eggs from his chickens for a few euros. A great way to eat fresh, balanced food when you're cycling the Loire!
