Description

You are welcome to Casa Giardino, in the countryside between Modena and Bologna! You can stay with your tent in the shade of walnut trees, among native hedges planted, as they once were, to mark boundaries and create a welcoming space. Camper vans, caravans and minivans will be able to stay on concrete pavers, with a garden beside them to relax and eat in peace. Table and benches, the use of a shared kitchenette with refrigerator, bathroom with shower, washing machine ( contribution of €2.50 per wash) sandbox and swing for the little ones, table tennis, bookcrossing for reading and taking/donating a book, board games,
a small library for young and old, the large porch in which to find shelter. Extra weekly activities you can sign up for: yoga, pilates, meditation, cultural meetings.
We are located in the vicinity of the Ciclovia del Sole, easily reached, via country roads, (website hidden)
In the village, reachable in a few minutes by car, there is a grocery store, pharmacy, newsstand, baker.

The setting

You can pitch your tent on the lawn, under walnut trees and among native hedges. For campers, caravans and minivans there is a dedicated space on an area with concrete self-blocking, adjacent to the garden. The typical country setting with the passing of the seasons and the work of farmers will interest children: the chickens in the chicken coop, the hares and pheasants crossing the lawn in the evening and early morning.

The space is vast: level, grassy and walnut-shaded for tents, level and on self-striping for campers, caravans and minivans, also for them with adjacent garden. Convenient light connection in both spaces.

The activities

A small room is available for meditation, yoga or gymnastics. For birdwatchers, a half-hour walk will take you to the Manzolino Wildlife Oasis. Motor Valley, for car and motorcycle enthusiasts, is here: the nearby Pagani car museum, the Casa Ferrari museum in Modena, Maserati, Lamborghini, and Ducati! You can taste the typical tortellino in Castelfranco's restaurants or take a trip to Spilamberto, home of traditional Modena vinegar, or to Castelvetro, where Lambrusco Grasparossa is born. The train station in Castelfranco will take you to the cities of Modena and Bologna. At the Saturday afternoon market in Castelfranco, you can buy fruits, vegetables, baked goods, and typical organic and quality products! In Modena, Pavarotti's House Museum will let you relive the history of the famous tenor.

Rules

Garden House is a place that grows with us, with respect, care and attention to flowers, plants, what we provide: kindness to the environment! For smokers: you must get a container in which to leave ashes and cigarettes, without scattering them on the lawn. Smoking is not allowed inside the house or outside near the house, but only at a certain distance. Garbage will find a place in the appropriate containers. Parents will take care to check that children do not endanger themselves by getting too close to tools and machinery used in the countryside. Care will also be taken to respect silence as in any other camping situation.
