Outstanding

  • The ideal campsite in a beautiful setting. It’s as close to wild camping as I’ve seen so far in Europe but with lots of amenities provided by an excellent host. Completely private and far from roads, people, or city noise.

    We stayed one night and slept perfectly under the stars. There is a campfire and supplies waiting along with table, chairs, and even some schnapps to keep you warm. There are some restaurant options a short hike away and basic supplies in town.

    We loved Steffan’s hay hut campsite and will certainly be back again. I only hesitate giving it such high marks as I want to make sure it is available for our next visit. ????
