Description

Need a peaceful stopover without having to pitch a tent? We're a 3km walk from the GR4 and the Tour VTT de Charente, and 5km from the small town of Montbron (7km by car), where you'll find all the shops and the municipal swimming pool. We're also a dozen km from the Chambon open-air center (Eymouthiers), where many outdoor activities are possible.
You can also camp with your own tent or set up your van for a few days.

The setting

We have a meadow adjoining the house and you will be in the shade of an ash tree with a view over the Renaudie valley. There's very little light at night for astronomy enthusiasts...
It's not an English lawn, but a meadow!

The spots

The tipi tent is equipped with a double bed for 2 people and a single bed for 1 person. Bed linen is provided on request. Towels too, if required. There is no electricity in the tent, but lamps are provided.

The sanitary facilities

The bathroom is accessible to the house in the evening only. Dry toilets and a drinking water tap are available on site.

The amenities

There is no electricity outside, but you can recharge your cell (email hidden)Semi-sheltered summer kitchen.

The activities

We're on the edge of the Renaudie and Tardoire valleys, which are classified Natura 2000 and criss-crossed by hiking trails that you can explore on foot, by bike or on horseback...Canoeing and kayaking club in Montbron (7km) and equestrian center 5 km away, La Rochefoucauld and its Renaissance château 20 km away.

The gate is 3 meters wide.
Breakfast is available at an additional cost, with prior notice.
