Description

We live at the end of a cul-de-sac subdivision. Little or no traffic. No street lighting at night, from 10 or 11 pm depending on the season.
There's a large paved pitch right next to our house (see photo with arrow) where we can put up a camper van or caravan.
Right in front of our house, we've laid out a small garden with flowerbeds where you can easily pitch your tent. The ground is perfectly level.

The setting

We live in a small village in the Combrailles region of the Puy-de-Dôme, in the foothills of the Chaîne des Puys and the Massif du Sancy.
All amenities are available in the village (mini-markets, bakery, butcher's, bar-tabac, pizzeria, pharmacy, etc.). There's also a children's playground.
We're 30 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand and the same from La Bourboule/Le Mont-Dore (spa towns and winter sports resorts in the Sancy).
Our village borders the A89 motorway (exit no. 25 for the south 20 minutes away, no. 26 for the north 15 minutes).

The spots

The pitches are right on the street, so they're easy to get to. No traffic, so you won't be disturbed.
The ground is perfectly flat.
Camper pitches: 10m x 6m
Tent pitch: 3x3 m

The sanitary facilities

The sanitary facilities are inside the house. Toilets, bathroom, kitchen, fridge. Everything is shared with us. You can access them at any time.

The amenities

We provide water, electricity (extension cord) and internet access, as well as a fridge and microwave just for you.
You'll also have access to the kitchen, where you can use everything you need (utensils, crockery, basic foodstuffs).

The activities

Jimmy is a tour guide. We can show you around the region if you wish.
We're in a mountainous region, but above all a volcano region. Vulcania and Lemptegy are just 25 minutes away.
Fenestre amusement park in La Bourboule (30 mins).
Numerous lakes for swimming and fishing.
Nature and mountains are everywhere, for unforgettable hikes.
And we're not forgetting...

Rules

At home, it's "à la bonne franquette". No real rules, no timetables. If you come, it's because you're on vacation, so let's forget about time!
Just be respectful and kind.
Our house is non-smoking, but smoking outside is no problem at all, that goes without saying. We leave as clean as we found it. And that's perfect ☺️
Our dogs don't have access to the places dedicated to you. Anyway, they're adorable ☺️ (they're basset hounds, Télé Z dogs ☺️).

Extras

Possibility of breakfast (€6 / person)

Wide selection of Grand Cru teas. Jimmy is passionate about it (too) and can give you a presentation and tasting.
Otherwise, coffee, hot chocolate or herbal tea.
Fruit juices. And pastries, fresh bread, homemade jams and butter.

Situation
  • The camper uses the asphalted area immediately adjacent to Ludovic and his companion's home, located in a quiet part of the village overlooking the fields. It's a convenient place to stop off, not far from the main roads, in comfortable surroundings (electric hook-up, sanitary facilities, breakfast). The hosts' warm welcome adds to the serenity of the setting...

  • A super warm welcome, an exceptional meeting with my son.
We shared meals together and were very well advised and guided on the places to visit.

    Many thanks to Ludovic.

  • Very good stay at Ludo's.
We arrived rather late, so we didn't get to talk much.
But a pleasant and attentive person, I recommend it.
