Description

A warm welcome awaits you.
In a large tent, in the middle of nature for 2 to 3 people, on a plot of over 7000 m2.

The setting

Right in the heart of the Marô.
Marô" is the local name for the Breton marshlands of the Vendée and Loire-Atlantique.
If you're lucky, you'll see roe deer, foxes, hares, wild rabbits, and depending on the season, you may hear and see pheasants, green woodpeckers, little egrets, herons, cormorants and much more...
Very quiet, with little traffic.

The spots

The tent has a 140 x 190 cm deck bed and a sofa that can be converted into a 120 x 190 cm extra bed.
There's a cabinet with a small sink fed by a 10-liter jerrycan of drinking water and a foot pump. You'll also find a dry toilet area, a small coffee table, a sofa with plaid, a dustbin, a large rug, some crockery, a chair and an outdoor table with 4 chairs. Lighting is provided by 3 mobile solar lamps and 2 fixed solar spotlights.

There is access to drinking water and electricity at the outdoor dry toilet hut.
The solar shower (twenty liters) is next to this hut.
Bed linen and towels will be provided on arrival.

The sanitary facilities

Dry toilets in the tent and outside. Outdoor compost bin.
20-liter outdoor solar shower.

The amenities

There will be a charge for the use and consumption of electricity at the dry toilet hut if you plug in household appliances. This will be €3/day.
But free access to electricity only for portable charging in the hut.

The activities

15 minutes from the sea and 5 minutes from the town's shops, food and other amenities.

Rules

The tent is non-smoking.
Children are welcome, but must remain under the supervision of parents or carers, as the site is surrounded by "étiers" (ditches with water).
If you are not alone on the site, dogs must be kept on a leash.
You must pick up after them.
Dishes (if any) and toiletries must be biodegradable, so as not to pollute the water in the étiers and the grounds.
The setting is beautiful and in the middle of nature, so please respect it.

  • A very beautiful place for nature lovers, calm and quiet, we really enjoyed it with my wife.
Nadine is very kind and helpful with all kinds of requests.
I hope we will have the opportunity to return.

  • Thanks to Nadine for her warm welcome. We inaugurated the converted tent and slept very well. It's comfortable and pleasant, and everything has been well thought out. The dry toilets in the bedroom are very practical, but our only minor complaint is that the shower is a bit far from the tent and not sheltered. Nadine is a helpful and accommodating host. The grounds are large and quiet, perfect for relaxing and discovering the region.

  • Nadine is very welcoming and warm. We loved our stay in this beautiful haven of peace. Everything we were looking for was there. And as a bonus, Nadine is full of good intentions. See you soon
