  • Our stay was perfect! Our hosts are super nice, kind and very discreet. They are just starting out in this business, and to say the least, they took great care of us. Little by little, they have made improvements and added little extras to make us feel at home. The setting is superb, calm and shady if you place yourself well. The song of the cicadas is impressive but surprisingly undisturbing. We were entitled to a small kitchenette with shared fridge, senseo coffee maker, electrical sockets, tables, chairs, barbecue, w-c, shower (cold but it felt good!) and even the swimming pool! We've had some very nice neighbors too, who've come for 1 day or more. Then you take the road out, go straight ahead and find a first zone 2 minutes away with all the stores you want, and if that's not enough, continue on to Martigues 5 minutes away and you'll find plenty more! In fact, we're just a few kilometers from Istres, Martigues, Carry le Rouet and, if you push a little, Marseille, Cassis and lots of other great towns and places to visit. For beaches, either go to the sea, as in La Couronne or Carry, or go to the Etang de Berre (which is salty because it's filled by the Mediterranean) in Istres or Saint Mitre.... Thank you for this vacation, which has enabled us to see so many beautiful places!
