Description

Our spiritual home, located 15 km from Paris, will be open during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. An independent parking lot allows you to park a camper van in peace and quiet.

The setting

The park is in a quiet location, high above the old village of Saint-Prix, a small middle-class town in the Val d'Oise.
At night, we can see the lights of Paris, La Défense, Montmartre and the Eiffel Tower. However, we can still hear the planes flying into Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport.

The spots

there's a large, shaded parking area in an avenue of lime trees for motorhomes. However, access to the park is limited to vehicles under 7 m (narrow gate).

The sanitary facilities

there's an accessible toilet and washbasin outside. During the Olympic Games, we'll be installing an area with accessible cold showers.

The amenities

no internet in the park, but 4G easily available.
No accessible kitchen except for a fridge and microwave.
No power outlets available outside.

The activities

walks in the Montmorency forest, visits to the château de la chasse, the Renaissance museum and the old village of Saint-Prix. Religious services (Lauds, Mass, Vespers) are held at Maison Massabielle every day.

Other things

the Transilien (Line H) takes you easily to Paris for all cultural and tourist visits. A city bus (lines 38-01 and 38-03) takes you to the station on weekdays.

Rules

stay limited to 5 days.
Curfew at 10 p.m. to respect neighbors.
The gate is locked at night: please arrive before 8pm.
Please let us know on arrival if you need to leave early.

Extras

Possibility of breakfast (€6 / person)

classic European breakfast: tea, coffee, chocolate, bread, butter, jam and sometimes local honey.
