Description

We look forward to welcoming you, whatever the season, to our home in rolling green countryside, 10 minutes from a beautiful lake (swimming, various activities, hiking, restaurants, etc.).
It will be our pleasure to help you discover our beautiful LOT department, with its rich variety of landscapes, beautiful trails to discover, culinary delights, picturesque villages, and activities of all kinds, with prospectus at your disposal.

The setting

The property is located in a hamlet in green, wooded countryside, where most of the population are farmers, with cows and sheep nearby, dogs on the move and no (email hidden)Although there is relatively little vehicular traffic on the local road leading to the house, the area is quiet.
Our house is partly fenced.

The spots

The site includes ;
- 3 flat pitches, shaded at certain times of day, which can accommodate large tents, motor homes, caravans, vans or several small tents if the pitch is free.
- 1 small, relatively flat, shaded pitch for small tents
- 2 sunny for small, flat tents
All are easily accessible and mowed.

The sanitary facilities

It's our first year, so for the time being you'll have access to a carport with a sink and a toilet independent of the house, so you can take some water, wash dishes and laundry.
You'll be able to eat there if you wish (table and chairs, a small barbecue table). In the event of a storm, you can retreat to the tent to sleep with your own equipment.
You'll be able to use the shower and sink located in the house (former laundry room), so you'll be independent of our own bathroom (times to be arranged on a case-by-case basis).
For next year, we plan to convert a large garage into a common room with sanitary facilities and a small kitchen, where campers can have cocktails, relax and play games (ping pong table, children's games).

The activities

We are in the LOT department, well known for its culinary flavors and traditional dishes (cabécous, foie gras, black truffles, duck confit, stuffed hens, local stuffed cabbage, walnuts, etc.).
Among our nuggets: several hiking trails, Cardaillac, Rocamadour, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Figeac, Saint-Céré, Martel, Souillac, the Champollion museum, the Gouffre de Padirac and so many other wonders.
The Lac du Tolerme is 10 minutes from the house.
We're just 20 minutes from the Cantal (starting with the village of Maurs and its beautiful market every Thursday morning), where I'll be happy to tell you all about the beautiful things to discover, as I know a bit about this department too.
You can also enjoy our village fêtes and their gourmet markets.
Finally, you'll be able to relax on our grounds to your heart's content, with a ping-pong table, children's toys, etc...

Other things

Reception arrangements and times will be determined by telephone on a case-by-case basis. We're in business (farmers on another site), so don't worry about us being late - we know all about the unexpected! One message and you're in! We won't be home all day because we're working, but we have flexible hours so we can chat and welcome you. If you have any queries, you can reach me by phone in my absence.
If you want breakfast, please say so when booking, no later than 10.00 am.

Rules

For everyone's well-being, we ask you to leave the grounds and equipment clean. Please manage your own garbage.
Smokers are welcome, but no butts on the ground. Ashtrays with water (to prevent fire) will be provided.
You are free to come and go at any time of day.
Arrivals are on a case-by-case basis, departures before 11 a.m. OO.

  • Sylvie is a super-friendly host who does everything she can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The sanitary facilities are neat and clean, with toilets, shower, washing machine, etc.
    Wifi reception is mediocre but works.
    I was with my caravan behind the house on one of the two spots, adjacent to the field with cows, a beautiful view of the hills which you can enjoy on a deckchair under the trees. Easy access to the garden.
    The only downside is the two dogs from a neighboring farm who bark regularly, but Sylvie says something will be done about that.
    I had a wonderful two days and highly recommend this place!
