Description

Permaculture eco-lodge offering 2000m2 of flat, shady land for a few nights' peace and quiet, close to the town of Castres (5min drive from town center). Dry toilets, washbasin and cold shower on site. Possibility of charging your (email hidden)Mathieu and I would be delighted to meet you and show you around our farm.

The setting

This typical old Tarn farmhouse, planted with trees and set on a flat plot of land, is in a peaceful setting surrounded by fields and forest. The site is very quiet and maintained according to permaculture principles.
We have a very friendly dog, chickens and donkeys. Beware of mosquitoes!

The spots

The pitches are shaded by trees, providing morning and evening shade. The site is flat and mowed.
Access to the campsite is via an unpaved path with a few bumps, not suitable for low-slung cars. Please note that access is limited to vehicles less than 2m wide.

The sanitary facilities

Sanitary facilities are clean but very basic: new dry toilets, a sink and a shower cubicle (beware, the water is not heated) located outside, in the camping area.

The amenities

Possibility of connecting your telephone outside the house (sheltered box), which is 100m from the camping area.
No kitchen or wifi access available to campers.

Hiking in the Sidobre, visiting Castres and the surrounding area, the medieval village of Lautrec...

Other things

Beware, vehicle access is narrow in places and there are bumps. To be avoided with low or wide cars.
