The setting

Completely surrounded by olive trees the grounds can offer different views. You choose the one you like best!
At night you can admire, wherever you choose, a magnificent starry sky, thanks to the lack of any kind of light pollution.
All that remains is to enjoy absolute peace and relaxation surrounded by nature and if you are lucky you can see wild animals such as hare, deer, roe deer, foxes, porcupines and enjoy spectacular sunsets.

The spots

Pitches will be arranged on site according to guests' needs and are shaded by olive trees.
Surrounded by greenery - panoramic view - nonexistent traffic

The sanitary facilities

Cia we are organizing. There is currently a small enclosed bathroom (turkish) adjacent to the dwelling with an attached outside sink.
No hot water available.
There are no restrictions on hours of use for these facilities.

The amenities

The activities

Possible trekking and mountain biking routes. I recommend the scenic loop tour called Pagliaine-Castellina (7.2 km). This route starts from the medieval village of Castellina where the feast of San Rocco takes place every year on August 16.
I share the link : (website hidden) . Here you can find all the nearby routes.
To better orient yourself you can download the Peakvisor app or from (website hidden) by Mountain Identification. It allows you to tag all the peaks that appear in your camera view.
Walk inside the medieval village of Serravalle Pistoiese where you can taste local products.

Transportation nearby:
Bus line 1.4 km away (18-minute walk).
Railway line Masotti Station - connecting with the cities of Pistoia, Prato, Florence, Montecatini, Lucca, Viareggio distant 6.2 Km (13 minutes by car).

Other things

We value sharing these wonderful spaces surrounded by nature, but we are equally respectful of it. Please kindly be equally respectful of waste. For this we will provide you with containers that we will collect at the end of your stay. We firmly believe in respectful coexistence between you and us.

  • We enjoyed the peaceful haven of Federica and Giorgio's property. Falling asleep with a view of mountains and starry skies, then waking up under olive trees. Our hosts were very welcoming (thanks again for your aperitivo!), and Giorgio was not lacking in thoughtfulness. A great place to discover the region. Thank you very much!

  • If you're looking for a quiet spot away from it all, this is the place. Only you'll have to get there. 1.7km of forest path. Fortunately, we're in a 4x4 pickup with a cell. We learned later that there was another path, but it was quite steep. As we're self-sufficient, we didn't have to use the water or the dry toilets.

  • Very warm welcome from the owners. The location is magnificent, as is the peace and quiet.
However, the GPS access needs to be modified, as we arrived via a very, very steep gravel path. We thought we were lost in the mountains, but the owner came and showed us the way.
A bit expensive, 30 euros for 3 people, just toilet and drinking water.

  • We stopped for one night during our road trip.
A lovely ans a quiet spot with a table and deckchairs, ideal for stargazing around a campfire.
The host welcomed us warmly and even came to guide us by car when we couldn't find the way!
    A great experience!

  • A great place cut off from the world, with a superb view, attentive hosts, we were treated to an apero plank, very good thanks????. It would be a plus to have a dry toilet and a solar shower next door. No electricity either, but that was no problem for us.
