Description

You are Welcome! We have a 6 acre site with good road links to the city but rural enough for star gazing and chilling. Hot shower, toilet and washing up facilities.

The setting

Friendly site surrounded by hedges and ancient trees, light noise during the day but silent at night except for owls and wildlife. Great star gazing very little light pollution.

The spots

Flat level areas to park, some shaded areas beside or under the trees. No size limits for tents or camper vans or motor homes. Parking beside your pitch.

The sanitary facilities

Hot shower, hand-basins and washing up station. Two shared fridges. Open 24/7

The amenities

Fire pits available to hire and log sales. No electrical hook up but we can charge a phone or inflate and air bed.
Ice pack freezing available.

The activities

At the site we have a badminton net, frisbees and skipping ropes. Locally you can canoe, paddle board and take river trips. We are close to both wild animal parks, Howletts and Wingham Wildlife Park. Two foodie pubs are in walking distance.

Other things

Local shop in walking distance, short drive to seaside and Canterbury Cathedral.

Rules

We are open for check in from 8.30am until late. All dogs MUST be on leads at all times on site and campers must follow the country side code.

Breakfast is available at the nearby village pub between 9-10.30
