Description

Discover the Vendée bocage in an old, authentic village in the heart of nature. Our grounds, classified as an LPO refuge, are calm and shady: at the edge of our meadow, wake up to our sociable animals. Sheep, donkeys, goats... Come and meet them and share a pleasant moment with your family.
Cloé is a farmer and cheese-maker, and I'm an amateur brewer. We're happy to share our passions, so don't hesitate to discover our products. Occasionally, you can discover the world of brewing and brew with me when I'm available!

The setting

Our plot is quiet, with a real country atmosphere. Discover the atmosphere of the Vendée bocage: pretty landscapes, a stream that runs by the garden, animals and varied vegetation... a corner of vacation at home!

The spots

Depending on requirements, our site has a number of locations available. The vans will be either on the gravel driveway for stability, or on the grass, also on the flat, just like the tents. In both cases, you'll have a view of our animals' paddock!

The sanitary facilities

For the time being, we've only made available the toilets in our home, which can be accessed independently when we're present. Access to (cold) water, however, is already available outside!

The amenities

We can provide electricity via a reel to your pitch.
A separate fridge is available, to be shared between campers.

The activities

We're only 20 minutes from Le Puy du Fou, so it's a great opportunity to discover the best park in the world!
For hikers, we have a number of trails in the Pouzauges area, accessible on foot or by car.
For cyclists, there are a number of signposted veloroute routes that pass close by.
For fishermen, the Etang des Morineaux is just a few minutes away, and can be reached on foot, by car or by bike!
If you'd like to try your hand at brewing beer, let me know and I'll try to arrange for you to take part in a brewing session, depending on the date and my availability.
And of course, we're only 1 hour from the sea: a train is only 10 minutes away by car, and takes you directly to Les Sables d'Olonne! The perfect opportunity to get to the beach without the hassle of traffic jams and parking spaces.

Other things

We offer baskets of products from the farm where Cloé works (ripened and fresh cheeses, whipped cheeses, yoghurts, cottage cheese, vegetables, pasta, pizzas, paninis, prefou, flour, mustard... all organic!), as well as local products (eggs and beer). Don't hesitate to ask us before or during your stay!

Rules

Do not feed the animals: it may kill them!
To get there: don't pass the "Gazeau family" sign at the end of the road. Keep going straight ahead, it's the next right.
Of course, please don't leave your garbage there. We only collect garbage 2 times a month, so we can't collect your garbage and ask you to take it with you when you leave. Thank you for your patience!
