Hello,

We are renting out our 40m2 mazet/cabanon in Fontvieille for vacations, business trips or those seeking peace and quiet.
It is our second home.

It comprises a main room (kitchen, gas cooker, fridge, microwave, Italian coffee maker, table, chairs, storage unit, sofa bed) and a bedroom separated from the main room by a curtain.
The bedroom contains a TV, DVD player, books and children's toys.

Bathroom: washbasin, shower, toilet.

The sofa can be converted into an extra bed.

We prepare the bed(s) so that you can relax when you arrive, and provide towels, washcloths and tea towels free of charge.

I'd like to make it clear that comfort is sufficient, but this is a completely self-contained mazet from an energy point of view, which means we have no air-conditioning, no wifi, the accommodation is heated by a wood-burning fireplace and by oil heating (wood and oil supplied).
The use of energy-guzzling household appliances such as vacuum cleaners and irons is not recommended, as electricity is supplied by solar panels.

As for water, we are supplied by a borehole. The water tank has a volume of 280 liters. When it's empty, you'll need to switch on the pump (I'll explain all this to you when you arrive).

This accommodation is ideal for nature lovers and hikers.

This bucolic cabin has already seduced many families who have spent some very pleasant times here.
The strong point of this mazet is its exceptional location in the heart of olive groves, in the middle of the Alpilles regional nature park, on the "Vallon des Raymonds" hiking trail.
If you cut across the hillside, you'll reach the Sourdan mill in 8 minutes on foot, and the Daudet mill in 10 minutes.
At the bottom of the path, you'll find shops including INTERMARCHÉ Contact and Fontvieille town center.

As an option, we can provide you with our Fiat Panda (contract and insurance included) on arrival at Arles station or nearby.

You'll be staying "at home", with our family photos and personal belongings, so you'll feel right at home!

We live 20 minutes away and will be on hand to welcome you, hand over the keys and explain how to turn on the pump to pump water from the borehole every day (self-contained accommodation).

Rules

You'll be staying in the middle of the Parc Naturel Régional des Alpilles.
Be aware of the risk of fire (cigarette butts, barbecues...)
