Description

Bernâtre is a small, bucolic village where life is good. There are only thirty or so of us, and we all know each other, which makes it easy to get together and share ideas.
A quiet village, we welcome you to our stables, ideally located at the foot of the "La traversée du Ponthieu" greenway.
We hope to see you soon!

The setting

Bernatre is a village in a valley, overlooking our horses' pastures. The village turns its back on a wood through which the voie verte passes.
Here you'll find some exceptional 19th-century buildings and an ancient medieval castle tower.
You can also take a stroll around the newly restored Chapelle Saint Claude.

The spots

Two types of pitches are available:
- flat grass pitches close to the horses, with very little shade except under the few apple trees we have. Water and electricity are not close by, but the calm and communion with nature are a must.
- pitch in the stable yard, easy access even for camper vans. Directly on concrete. The courtyard is slightly uneven at the entrance, then flat. Close to water, electricity and a living room. A space with lots of life, as we frequently spend time there looking after the horses.

The sanitary facilities

The toilets are in our house, in the entrance of this one for your intimacy.
In our outbuildings, a washbasin with hot and cold water is at your disposal, to be shared with all campers.

The amenities

A small living room is available. In it you'll find books, board games and sports equipment.
There's also a fridge, a senseo and a kettle.
There are two dining areas: either in the living room, or outside on the terrace.
Electricity is available from one of our outbuildings, and extension cords can be supplied.

The activities

On site, enjoy privileged contact with the horses.
We don't offer horse-riding, but brushing, initiation on foot, etc...
We can also recommend places to go for rides.
Just 2 minutes from Auxi le Château, with all its amenities, you can also take advantage of the town's cultural events.
We're also just 30 minutes from the Baie de Somme: kayaking, hiking, sightseeing, boating, wine-tasting....
Amiens is 40 minutes from the house.
