Description

In the calm of the Massif des Maures, between the sea and the Gorges du Verdon, pitches in a villa with swimming pool and 14,000m of enclosed, secure grounds, under pines and oaks to listen to the song of the cicadas. Tranquillity and nature are the aims and principles of the house!

The setting

In the middle of the garrigue, in a forest shaded by pines and oaks, overlooking the Argens valley, which flows at its foot. Located 7 kilometers from the first villages and shops of Le Thoronet and Vidauban.

The spots

Easy access, for light vehicles, vans, small camping cars and 4x4s with roof tents, flat terrain, shaded by pines and oaks. The land is vast, and so are the pitches.

The sanitary facilities

The villa has a toilet and an outdoor shower, the indoor bathrooms being reserved for the guest rooms. Dry toilets, shower cubicle and washbasin are currently being installed.

The amenities

4G network, wifi available around the villa. Kitchen and shower cubicle under construction. Electricity can be supplied at extra cost, indoors or outdoors, an extension cord can be provided.

The activities

There's plenty to do in the area, from the sea to the Verdon Gorge, with numerous hiking and climbing trails, a leisure center on the Argens river nearby, a superb Cistercian abbey in the village, the region's renowned wine cellars and markets, and many Provencal villages to visit.

Other things

A vehicle is required for all visits and activities.

Rules

Being an early riser and an early sleeper, I welcome guests and the house is open from 6:30 am to 9 pm. Smokers are welcome if they pick up their cigarette butts! Fires and barbecues in the grounds are strictly forbidden.
As I have cats and dogs, pets are welcome but not allowed to roam freely on the property.
