Description

In a small village of 1800 inhabitants, on the edge of a lake (lake emptied until April 2024) we welcome you on our private land which is a large enclosed area of 3361 m² to install your tent, motorhome, caravan or van.
Our timber-framed house is situated on the edge of a pond in a quiet country setting.
Saint Sernin du Bois is 20 minutes from the Creusot Montceau TGV station, which will take you to Paris in 1h15 or Lyon in 50 minutes.
The Burgundy wine route is close by (40 minutes from Beaune).

The spots

Pitch right next to our house.
On the right, a slightly sloping gravel site under an oak tree, in the shade, for parking motorhomes, vans or caravans.
On the left, a grassy, sunny pitch in the middle of the orchard for pitching tents.
Temporary pitch for one or more nights.

The sanitary facilities

No sanitary facilities
Access to an outside hose tap on the front of our house if you need to clean dishes, fill a pot, etc. Children are the sole responsibility of their parents: no access to the swimming pool or fish pond.

The amenities

If needed: an electrical outlet is available outside the house. An extension cord is provided. Electricity is payable separately by cheque or cash (€4 for one night, €8 for 2 nights, etc.).

Rules

Please be quiet after 10pm.
Boules pitch allowed (but not the children's hut next door).
It is possible to visit the chickens, but not to enter the enclosure.
It is possible to visit the fish pond (but be careful not to step on the plants in the pebbles).
Swimming pool prohibited.
Barbecues and campfires prohibited.
