We rent a modern equipped mobilehome on a well-kept, quiet and ideal for families campsite (Camping del Sole) on Lake Maggiore in Cannobio in Piedmont in Italy, which is located only 3 km from the Swiss border. The Mobilehome is located on the campsite, surrounded by palm trees, in a marginal and therefore quiet position with wonderful morning sun. It can accommodate up to 6 adults - and if small children sleep in the bed and you want to cuddle, then even more people. There are two separate rooms for more privacy.
The setting
Distance from the beach, promenade, village center and supermarket
The lakeside of Lake Maggiore with a great, free swimming beach, large sunbathing area (lawn and sandy area) and wonderful views can be reached on foot in just 5 minutes, a larger supermarket in 3 minutes, the famous Italian Sunday market in Cannobio in 4 minutes and in the village center (old town) itself with the quaint, narrow Italian alleys can be reached on foot in 8-9 minutes. Cannobio is a picturesque town with a beautiful lakeside promenade with the old harbor and a variety of stores, restaurants, cafes and bars. The public bathing beach is open to everyone free of charge and also has some trees under which you can find shade. Especially for children this beach is wonderful, because it slopes shallowly into the water.

Equipment Mobilehome
The Mobilehome is located on the campsite, surrounded by palm trees, in a marginal and therefore quiet location with wonderful morning sun. It offers space for up to 6 adults - and if small children sleep in the bed and you want to cuddle, then even more people. There are two separate rooms for more privacy: one room with a double bed (180 x 200) and the other room with a double bed (160 x 200) and a large single bed (120 x 200). A basic set of pillows (4 pcs.) and blankets (4 pcs.) is provided. However, fitted sheets, covers and towels must be brought by yourself in any case.
Further available: Modern kitchen (newly installed in 2021) with stove, running (hot) water and full kitchen equipment and also a good basic equipment such as spices, olive oil, vinegar, tea and cocoa powder for guests. Refrigerator + additional beverage cooler, DeLonghi bean to cup coffee maker, Philips SenseoPad coffee maker, microwave, sink, hot water heater. Indoor and outdoor dining tables, garden chairs, entertainment (flat screen TV with all German channels, Bluray player with many children's movies, board games, rackets, balls, etc.), air conditioning, fan heater (in autumn/winter up to 25 degrees indoor temperature achievable), charcoal grill, awning, parasol, two adult bicycles, etc.

Facilities Camping del Sole
The family-run Camping del Sole, where you can communicate very well in German if necessary, is extremely modern, ideal both for families with children and for older people who also like to enjoy the peace and still have some community. The campsite (and also we) are dog-friendly - only a few rules must be followed with the four-legged friends for the sake of hygiene.
The campsite has a huge swimming pool (25 x 12 m) with free sun beds and umbrellas, which - depending on the weather - is usually open from mid-May to the end of September. Furthermore, the campsite has a playground (swings, slide, merry-go-round), snack/bar/pizza service by the pool, table soccer, table tennis, new heated sanitary facilities - also barrier-free (newly made in 2017) with hot water throughout. The sanitary facilities (toilets and showers) can be reached on foot within 20 seconds from the Mobilehome, so very close. In addition: car parking within walking distance, free Wi-Fi, washing machines, dryers, an Italian restaurant directly on the campsite (pizza, pasta and Sicilian cuisine - generous portions, very good quality and fair prices), which is visited even by locals from the village, and much more.

a) The price is a flat rate per night for the whole Mobilehome (no matter if 2 or 6 persons).
September/October (2023): EUR/CHF 100,00
November/December (2023): EUR/CHF 70,00
Christmas vacations: EUR/CHF 100.00
February/March (2024): EUR/CHF 80.00
April/May/June (2024): EUR/CHF 115.00
For a booking of at least 10 nights, a 5% DISCOUNT is granted on the nightly rate.
There are NO more personal fees and NO fees for pets. Only the tourist tax (currently: EUR 0,80) per night and per person is still to be paid directly on site to the campsite.
Normally a deposit of 50% has to be paid at the time of booking. In individual cases and with sufficient time distance to the desired arrival date, a deposit can also be divided into two installments (e.g. instead of 50% immediately: 25% immediately and 25% to the next first of the month).
b) The flat rate for the external final cleaning in the amount of EUR/CHF 45,- will be added separately.
c) A small deposit will be charged, which will be refunded without any problems upon proper return of the mobile home.
d) The rental in July/August is only in whole weeks from Saturday to Saturday. In the other months also shorter stays are ok, but also there we preferentially accept requests for whole weeks from Saturday to Saturday. Minimum booking: 3 nights (exception: to fill gaps of one or two nights in the above booking calendar).
