Description

Cuyamaca Base Camp is located 2 miles north of Lake Cuyamaca on Engineers Road. The land is densely wooded and private with over a mile of switchback trail for walking. From the top of the camp there are forever views extending north to San Gorgonio Mountain and west to Catalina Island.

The setting

Cuyamaca Base Camp is as close to nature as you could expect. Deer, turkey, coyotes and cats all roam free.

The spots

Our camp sites are all leveled and available 1-2 person tents. We also supply glamping tents if you are without. Our RV space for Class A Motorhomes is located just off the main road providing easy access in and out.

The sanitary facilities

We have outdoor baths and showers at this time.

Our site, as presently configured, provides several glamping tents, an above ground pool and patio with BBQ

The activities

Cedar Creek Falls, Three Sisters Falls are a short ride away. Fishing in Lake Cuyamaca. Mountain Biking in Rancho Cuyamaca State Park. Road bike rides to Mount Laguna, Santa Ysabel and Anza Borrego Desert State Park.

Adults Only. No pets. No parties.

We are a "holistic based" camp with strict noise policies which we enforce to allow our guest a peaceful experience with nature.
