Description

We welcome you to our large garden in a rural setting surrounded by nature, just a stone's throw from the station and Château de Chaumont sur Loire, accessible by bike via the "Loire à vélo" itinerary.
It will be possible to pitch your tent or park your van.
You'll have access to a fully-equipped outdoor kitchen and a bathroom separate from our house.

The setting

It's a large, secluded plot, quiet and planted with trees, close to a river (the Cisse), a small wood and fields. The garden has an orchard and a vegetable patch that is starting to take shape.
The proximity of the station and a street means that we can hear trains (especially freight trains) and cars. Otherwise, it's the roosters that wake you up in the morning. The first shop in Onzain is 800m away on foot (Casino) or via the cycle path. (The center of Onzain is 1.4 km away on foot, easily accessible from the plot).
Our house is located on the plot, so we'll have the opportunity to bump into each other, but the plot is large enough to ensure your peace and quiet. Please bring mosquito repellent, as mosquitoes may be present in the evening.

The spots

We offer 3 well-spaced pitches. All are flat and shaded.
You can pitch under oak trees, birch trees or hazelnut trees.
All tent pitches are accessible on foot or by bike. Medium-sized tents are accepted.
To park your van: either next to the vegetable garden or under the trees.

The sanitary facilities

You'll find a separate sanitary block with washbasin, shower and dry WC + sockets.
The hot water in the sanitary block should be used with care, so that it's available to everyone.
(The house's hot water production system is independent).

The amenities

A summer kitchen with hob, fridge and freezer, sink and cooking utensils is available. Bicycle and cell phone batteries can be charged safely and easily. A large dining table is available outside.
Wifi or 4/5G network available.

The activities

A badminton court is available on site. A pétanque court is coming soon :). Deckchairs in the garden for napping or hammocking.
Situated along the Loire cycle route, the site is ideally located for visiting the Château de Chaumont sur Loire and its Domaine d'Art et de Nature, as well as its Festival des Jardins. Enjoy an evening in one of the many restaurants in the village. Alternatively, there's a guinguette on the banks of the Loire at Chaumont sur Loire, which organizes concerts and serves excellent local beers.
