A surprising, unusual and yet very comfortable little corner of paradise!
The Loire Estuary is famous for its carrelet fishing. There are no fewer than 37 fisheries along the Loire between PAIMBOEUF and ST-BREVIN... These little huts above the water, as if on stilts, are a must-see! You'll also find them by the sea all along the Côte de Jade (7 kilometers). But for insurance reasons, we couldn't envisage our guests sleeping there.
So we came up with the idea of building a real fisherman's cottage in the strict respect of tradition... but perched among the maritime pines of our park. This accommodation was awarded the 3rd prize for innovative eco-tourism by the Pays de la Loire Region and a national prize by France-Voyages.

The setting
La Pêcherie Perchée has been created in the very heart of the verdant, flower-filled Parc du Manoir de l'Espérance (19th century). You'll fall asleep peacefully under a fishing-net canopy, gently rocked by the swaying of the branches, and you'll probably wake up to birdsong if not to that of our peacocks! We are indeed an LPO refuge. From the terrace, you'll have a view of the nearby Loire.

On your call, using a foghorn and a winch identical to the one that raises and lowers the plaice, you'll hoist your breakfast served in a fisherman's basket. Laughter guaranteed.
On request, children can also receive their "Pêcherie Initié User" diploma!
The sanitary facilities
Adjoining dry toilets. Communal sanitary facilities are downstairs.
Inside the collective sanitary block: 2 hot-water shower cubicles with washbasins + a panoramic family shower for 3 people with washbasin - 2 WCs - 2 urinals - Hair dryer. The sanitary block is always open. You'll love the unusual feature of the panoramic family shower, which allows 3 people to shower with a breathtaking view over the fields.
The amenities
Our cabins feature a convenient communal herbal tea room. You'll find a double sink, fridge-freezer, water cooler and 2 microwaves.
Collective BBQ, may be prohibited if ordered by the Prefect due to drought.
Heated swimming pool under cover from 15/04 to 15/10, misting system, chapel.
You'll be able to charge your cell phone thanks to 2 USB sockets in the bathroom SAS.
Sockets for charging batteries are available in the communal bike garage. Free Wi-Fi (hotspot)
2 USB sockets are available in the washroom area for recharging your mobile phones.
The activities
The beach and all its water sports are less than 7 kilometers away, and can be reached by a dedicated cycle path along the estuary, where you can admire picturesque fisheries and a wealth of birdlife.
Cycling, hiking, for all those who like to get around gently.
Just across the Loire, you can visit the Atlantic shipyards where these ocean giants are built. Or maybe you'd prefer to visit Airbus, where other aeronautical giants are under construction!
Pornic is 15 minutes away. La Baule is 30 minutes away, and don't miss the magnificent Guérande peninsula!

The price (based on 2 people) is for the mid-season, excluding weekends and public holidays (from 14/04 to 8/07 and from 1/09 to 15/10). Expect to pay +27 € for weekends and public holidays (outside the high season) and +47 € for the high and very high season (9/07 to 31/08).
