Description

We welcome you to our agroecological food micro-farm, a place for sharing knowledge in eco-construction, permaculture, self-sufficiency and low tech. We eat what we grow, we build our habitat from straw bales and earth, and we produce our own solar-generated electricity.

The setting

7000 m2 of meadows surrounded by old oak and willow trees, with a pond, a large vegetable garden, a greenhouse, a henhouse (with crowing roosters), an orchard, beehives...

The spots

A pretty self-built wooden caravan, well insulated with wood wool, self-sufficient in solar electricity, with a double bed, a small desk, a chair and a shelf.
The caravan has no heating. Sheets and pillowcases are provided. Bring your own comforters, or we can lend you blankets and sheets (+5 euros).

The sanitary facilities

Dry toilets are available, as well as an outdoor solar shower and an indoor shower in the workshop with hot water.

The amenities

A sheltered outdoor kitchen has a sink, gas stove, Breton crepe maker, rocket-stove, pantry, crockery and pots and pans. We also have bike-mixers!
There are sheltered forest tables for dining. For a minimum of 4 people, we can organize a wood-fired pizza evening (price not included).
We can also sell organic vegetables from the garden.

The activities

The greenway along the Oyon linking Guipry-Messac to Ploermel is 1 kilometer away, and links up with the Nantes-Brest canal and the Vélodyssée. The bar-concert-grocery-resto cooperative "Le Champ Commun" is 6 kilometers away, and the megalithic site of Monteneuf and the Brocéliande forest are nearby.

Other things

We regularly welcome trainees for weekends learning how to build low-tech objects.
