2024 OLYMPIC GAMES
Ideally located less than 20 kilometers from Lille, Lens (Louvre) or Douai, in the heart of the Phalempin forest, in a small, quiet village, we welcome you to our 7200 m2 enclosed garden planted with trees.
A garden managed according to permaculture principles.
Water, electricity, WC, shower, internet, barbecue, table and chairs, children's games, pond, home-made organic breakfast on request. In case of bad weather: possibility of indoor accommodation.
In the village you'll find: the forest, the GR 121, the St Jacques de Compostelle trail, an accrobranche course, a bird park, a bus service to Lille, and the possibility of buying vegetables, meat and cheese.
3 km away: shops, train station for Lille Lens Douai and Arras.
We'll be happy to provide you with information on tourist sites, good addresses and various local and regional activities.
The setting
The garden is a permaculture garden, with wild plants growing alongside vegetables. Part of the garden is deliberately left wild, with different ecosystems (hedge, pond, small wood...). Fruit trees are planted every year. At the bend in the path, you may catch a glimpse of a ceramic sculpture, or one of the characters who populate the garden.
If you're in a van, you'll be in the house parking lot, with the facilities as close as possible to the house, but with direct access to the garden from the side of the house. In a tent, you'll be in the heart of the garden.
The spots
Pitches for vans and camper vans are in front of the house, close to the sanitary block, on a pebbled surface. There is a grassy area where you can set up a table and chairs if you wish. For tents, there are several possibilities in the garden.
The sanitary facilities
The shower is in the house just inside the entrance. Three toilets are available, including a separate toilet and a dry toilet outside.
The amenities
Electricity supply close to vehicle or tent. Water available outside. Wifi or PLC Internet access.
