Description

The Domaine welcomes you from spring to autumn on 10 hectares of wonderful nature ... whether you choose to sleep in a tipi, tent, kerterre or bivouac ... or just come for a walk with the donkeys ... the site will amaze you with its calm and beauty. See you soon!

The setting

With its moss-covered undergrowth and large flower-filled meadows perched at an altitude of over 600 metres, the estate is the ideal place to hide away a little fairytale cabin...

The spots

A night in a nature igloo... Nestled deep in the forest, this tiny cottage, self-built from 100% natural materials, will offer you a gentle night's sleep, reconnecting you with the elements of nature... ideal for a romantic night in or to rediscover yourself.

- Capacity: 1 bed for 2 people (mattress placed on the ground on a woven rush mat and hemp bedding).
- Overnight stay includes: bed linen and equipment (floor mattress, double comforter, pillows, fitted sheets, comforter cover and pillowcase) - storm lamp - solar/gas shower - small stove (wood, paper, fire starter).
- You need to bring: suitable clothing and footwear - towels - torch - your charged cell phone - drinking water and food

This is an ideal camp from early spring to late autumn, but nights can be chilly, even very chilly, at the end of winter.
Accommodation is equipped with bedding suited to the situation, but remember to bring appropriate clothing for the weather forecast.
There is no heating inside, only fireplaces outside each accommodation.

The sanitary facilities

Sanitary facilities include:
-a dry toilet shared with the 2 other accommodations (wood chip litter) located in the center of the estate 30m from the cabin,
-an area for washing up using rainwater,
and a private shower area in the forest 20m from the cabin, with solar-heated or manually-heated gas showers.

Come and enjoy the authentic experience of a toilet in perfect connection with nature... it's amazing!

The amenities

A rudimentary shared outdoor kitchen is available for self-catering. Crockery, a gas stove, tables and chairs, and a rainwater collection point are provided. There is no refrigerator. However, it's a good idea to bring your own food to cook over the campfire!

For those wishing to book a "breakfast" package, it will be self-service in this area and can be enjoyed in the forest on the way to your accommodation. It includes coffee/tea/chocolate, fruit juice, fruit, toast/buns etc... A supplement of €8 per person will be charged.

ATTENTION, the site is not connected to the public electricity or drinking water networks, so it is imperative to arrive on site with your cell phone charged for the duration of your stay, and to bring your own drinking water.
Pets are not allowed in the tents.

The activities

The estate is dedicated to activities with donkeys in the heart of the Burgundy forest.
On site, young and old alike can go for a ride with the donkeys, either on their own and/or on foot.
The donkey can carry up to 35kgs, including children, picnics and even your bivouac gear!
You can take part in the daily care of the donkeys or, if you're lucky enough to be there, in the visits of the farrier, dentist or magnetizer... or simply brush and cuddle a donkey for a moment of complicity!

Within a radius of 20 to 40 kilometers, you'll have access to a wide range of activities:
- visit the tourist towns and wine cellars of DIJON, BEAUNE, GEVREY CH. and NUITS ST GEORGES
- swimming in a pool, natural basin or water sports center
- climbing, hiking, rowing, archery, tree-climbing...

Other things

Burgundy's gastronomy is also unmissable. The cuisine of numerous restaurants is waiting to be discovered...

Rules

It's a place where respect for nature and for nature lovers is paramount. Kindness is the rule. So, children's laughter, petting animals, daydreaming in the forest, sharing... are strongly encouraged!

Tourist tax payable on site: €0.22.
