Description

Camp amid the herd of free horses.
Situated in a pleasant, secluded location at the foot of the Rosazzo Abbey hill, a few kilometers from Cividale del Friuli (a UNESCO site) and 12 kilometers from the Udine Sud highway exit.

The setting

The accommodation is within the pasture where the horses live. Away from busy roads and completely immersed in the silence of nature. A few minutes away are supermarket, pharmacy, and all services.

The spots

You can choose to stay in the meadow or in the shade of the woods, among the horses that live here. Flat land easily accessible by any means.

The activities

You will have the opportunity to go on rides with very varied settings: hills, vineyards, river, woods and meadows. Possibility to rent horses and do individual or group lessons, also suitable for children.
In the area there is the possibility to visit agritourisms, wine cellars, cultural and historical sites, take walks and bike rides. We practice ethical horseback riding.
Nearby you can practice biking, motocross, kayaking, PPG, rock climbing, hiking, fishing, go mushrooming, pick fruit straight from the trees or wild edible herbs for your meals, swim in the river and sunbathe.
Possibility of massages and holistic therapies right on the spot.
We are in the heart of Collio and Colli Orientali del Friuli, an area among the most famous in the world for its doc wine culture.
It is possible to do tastings and bargain shopping at the most prestigious wineries.

Rules

We ask you to let us know if you want to do activities with horses. We offer rides, lessons and first saddle at the price of 25€ children under 12 and 35€ adults, duration 1.5 hours.

Outstanding

  • I spent two days (one night) in the company of the wonderful horses! Despite the fact that the weather was not the best. Giulio was extremely helpful and recommended places to visit nearby (several wineries, wineries but also Cividale, Udine,....)
    I stayed in the trailer provided by him which is in good condition, the bed is wide and comfortable.
    I recommend to everyone an immersion experience in nature..hearing the horses running and moving around me was a unique experience!
