The setting
We offer campers, hikers, hikers' cyclists and hikers' riders a natural, peaceful and beautiful place to pitch their tents and unwind.
Surrounded by beautiful mixed forests, we are in a secluded location at an altitude of 420 meters.
As a private road leads to us, there is very little noise.
During the day you can enjoy a wonderful view over the beautiful, unspoilt Sauerland and breathe in the fresh air.
You are here at an official climatic health resort.
At night, you can watch a breathtaking starry sky and listen to the conversations of the forest dwellers.
In the morning you will be gently awakened by countless birds and, if you like, you can have fresh eggs from our hens for breakfast.
Countless hiking, riding and cycling trails lead from our house.
You can walk for hours in the woods without meeting a soul. There are also countless wild animals, beautiful natural spectacles and lots of delicious mushrooms and herbs to discover.
The spots
There is a large, park-like garden at your disposal and you can choose your campsite relatively freely and thus decide between meadow, forest or various vantage points.
There are plenty of straight areas.
Horses and donkeys can be given a small pasture - hay and feed can be purchased if required, and the animals can also be fed.
It is also possible to camp on your animal's pasture.
At temperatures above 0° Celsius we provide drinking water.
Unfortunately there is no drinking water in winter - only a natural spring by the horses.
We can provide firewood as well as a tent stove with a suitable tent.
The sanitary facilities
We provide you with a compost toilet and an outdoor shower can be used in summer. The water is cold.
If our vacation apartment is free, you can use the sanitary facilities there between 08:00-22:00.
The amenities
WLAN can be set up if required.
Mobile phone connections are sometimes very poor.
Electricity is available outside and also via extension cable, but not to every pitch.
Unfortunately there is no drinking water in winter - only a natural spring by the horses.
We can provide firewood as well as a tent stove with a suitable tent.
The activities
First and foremost, you can relax and unwind here.
You can enjoy the view, hike, cycle and explore the beautiful Sauerland.
In 15 minutes by car you can be at the Hennesee or in the city center with all the necessary shopping facilities.
Here you can use a table tennis table, play badminton or soccer, swim in a natural stone pool, relax on the sun lounger or jump on the trampoline.
Other things
We run a small horse farm with lovely ponies and horses, some of which come from animal welfare organizations. Guided rides for children on our Shetty are possible.
We also have 11 lovely and very tame chickens who love to come and sit on your lap and be stroked.
Our dog and cat are very friendly and open-minded. However, female dogs in heat cause our master a lot of trouble and we would ask you not to bring them with you.
