Description

4 pitches available on an enclosed, shady plot in the heart of the oak forest.
A lovely, refreshing, landscaped waterhole.
Calm and nature, nature and nature.
We're in green Provence, close to the lakes and the Verdon.
Everything you need to take a break and recharge your batteries.

The setting

It's a bit like living on a farm.
There's no traffic noise, but the crowing of the rooster (Lico) and Ninon, our donkey, can be surprising. Not to mention the gossip of the geese!
There are also chickens, cats and our dog.
All this little world is free to roam. So you have to love animals to come and stay with us.
Apart from our animals, it's absolutely peaceful.
There's a large, pleasant watering hole for cooling off on hot days, and deckchairs for lounging around.
We're in the heart of the Var forest, and it's not unusual to come across hares, badgers, roe deer and other wildlife.
Last but not least, the light of Provence provides us with marvellous views, especially at sunset.

The spots

4 pitches on 2000m2 to respect privacy.
Undeveloped for "wilderness camping".
Of course, water and electricity will be brought to your pitch if requested.

Landscaped water feature (better than a swimming pool). Deckchairs.
Garden table.
A barbecue, fridge and microwave are available in a communal outdoor kitchen, and we can also offer a snack bar.
Bikes, a children's playground and even a kayak for exploring the lower Gorges du Verdon (15 kilometers away).

The activities

Opportunity to take part in farm activities.

These include but are not limited to
-Morning qigong session (20 minutes).
-Evenings by the fire with soft Indian music.

Discovery of the region, the lakes and the Verdon.
Hiking trails start directly from the site.
The 3 crois and Notre Dame de Bellevue sites are a 25-minute and 45-minute walk away.
Quinson prehistory museum.
Varages earthenware museum...

Other things

Access is via a very poorly maintained local road. The last 3 km have to be driven at speeds of no more than 30 km/h.
For this reason, our site is better suited to backpackers than to brand-new or large motorhomes.

Rules

Please note that due to our location, fires are prohibited.
Cigarette butts must be extinguished and disposed of in the ashtrays provided.
