Description

Situated 500 meters from the organic Jeanjean olive grove and the vineyards of Château l'ermite d'Auzan, biodynamically farmed and cultivated using Aromatherapy, as well as the manade and restaurant of the prieuré d'Estagel, in the heart of the old chapel, in a picturesque and friendly setting.
In summer, our swimming pool is available at an additional cost.

The setting

At the gateway to the Camargue, in a farmhouse located between Nimes (12 km) and Arles (12 km).
Close to the Mediterranean Sea, 35 minutes away (Saintes Maries de la mer - Grau du roi - Grande motte....), with its 3 large gardens and terrace where you can dine.

The sanitary facilities

Toilets in local homes.

The amenities

Extension cords for drinking water and electricity included if required.....

The activities

Between Costière and Camargue, many walks and bike rides.
Our swimming pool is available from June 10€ per day.
Beaches 35 minutes away.
The Maison carrée in Nîmes (12 kilometers) has just been listed as a Unesco World Heritage site.
Saint-Gilles, 5 kilometers away, is on the Via Egidiana or Via Tolosana, the route to Santiago de Compostela from Arles.
The town is the first stage of this itinerary (GR 653), which crosses the south of France over almost 950 kilometers from Arles to Punta-la Reina, the meeting point of the four French routes.
This first stage covers 21.7 kilometers through the Camargue countryside.
Visit to Montpellier.

Other things

Saint-Gilles is reached after crossing the Petit Rhône on the road bridge. The route then takes you up to the suburbs and canal district, via the abbey church, a must for pilgrims in search of the "spiritual".
