Description

Camping Caristes for over 2 years, we like to park in quiet places rather than in camping areas and campsites. Back in my native region, we've just bought a house with a large plot of land in a quiet location, but not far from local shops (Intermarché with gas station, dumping area, and lots of services) less than 1 kilometer away. The town of Roanne and its large conurbation are 10 minutes away. We're close to the Loire River, its gorges, the Véloire, the St Jacques de Compostelle pilgrimage route and mountain bike trails, not forgetting the Roannaise coast and its vineyards.
We would be delighted to welcome you to our property and offer you services such as electricity and water, and the possibility of using the swimming pool.
We love meeting new people. A simple and discreet welcome.

The setting

Quiet location, small road with little traffic, site in the meadow, lawn and courtyard of the house, flat site, view of the Madeleine mountains, little place to recharge your batteries by the stream at the bottom of our property, there will be a few animals afterwards.

The spots

Camper van pitches in a flat area or in the courtyard of the house, depending on the season and weather, no size restrictions, but sunny pitch.
Flat pitches for vans and tents in the lawn, shade from trees, limited height and width.

The sanitary facilities

No sanitary facilities for the moment, but dry toilets and water point planned.

The amenities

Wifi available, swimming pool, electricity and water, extension cords available, additional charges on request, dumping area less than 1km away, close by for horses on prior request, pets welcome (leashed), barbecue and board games available for hire.

The activities

Walking, hiking, mountain biking and the St Jacques de Compostelle pilgrimage route within easy reach, Cotes Roannaise vineyards, Villerest dam (beach and various water sports), Loire gorges and the town of Roanne (shopping, culture, museum) less than 10 minutes away.

Rules

Schedules to be defined according to availability, direct access from the road, discretion, respect for neighbors and cleanliness of the site. Dogs to be kept on a leash and small area to be respected. Charcoal/wood barbecue forbidden (except for planned installation). Access to the swimming pool in appropriate clothing, supervision under the responsibility of the tourists, respect for the cleanliness of the area.) Smokers allowed, no cigarette butts on the ground (ashtrays available on loan). Children's play area under parental supervision and responsibility. Animals may not be fed (unless otherwise agreed).
Cassette and grey water emptying prohibited on pitch! (Grey water available on request at a specific location).

Possibility of breakfast (€2 / person)

Coffee, tea, cocoa (your choice), fruit juices, brioches or other products depending on availability (home-made as much as possible).
