Hello dear friends,
We live and share common spaces and tools that we wish to develop according to the desires and needs of the people present on the premises.
Each person's private spaces are outside the collective spaces: light habitats, isolated rooms...
We operate horizontally, with time for reflection, work and living.
The farm is hosted by the association and covers 10 hectares.
Its aim is to provide access to land for use, and to support and facilitate projects.
Our aim is to experiment collectively with agro-ecology, peasantry and reversible construction projects, all based on egalitarian, self-management and permaculture principles.
There are currently three permanent residents: Sophie, her 2.5-year-old son Sélen and Chloé, who lives on the other side of the valley. We have a dog, Lota. There are often visitors, for an hour, a day, a week or several months. We're in the process of breaking in and are new to the whole agro-ecological side of things, but we're determined to get the ball rolling on food-producing agriculture.
We'd be delighted to offer you the chance to pitch your tent or truck during your stay! You'll have access to dry toilets, sanitary facilities, drinking water and an electricity point (although extension cords are not available). You can also use the shared kitchen.
We've set up a small kitty for the use of the communal areas. :)
The setting
We are a small 17th-century farmhouse perched on the side of a small Cotentin valley.
The spots
You'll be able to pitch your tent on a large, flat plot with access for a converted vehicle. However, for the size of a camper van, for example, there is a parking lot.
The sanitary facilities
Shared outdoor dry toilets are available, as well as an outdoor shower and access to outdoor water. There is also a shared shower and sink in the house. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer (at a small extra charge).
The amenities
The shared kitchen has internet access.
There is a sink, crockery, oven, gas stove, fridge and a small wood-burning stove.
