Description

Camp in the countryside in a haven of greenery and calm, recharge your batteries and be in harmony with unspoilt nature.

The setting

Our garden welcomes you to camp in the bocage at the end of a cul-de-sac, with no vis-à-vis or close neighbors, surrounded by meadows and hedges. No traffic, no artificial light.
Very quiet and green, some areas of the garden are landscaped and others are left to biodiversity.
A small wood provides coolness on hot days, two fields of over a hectare each for stargazing or lying in the sun, a vegetable garden with its greenhouse, an orchard, a small pond with frogs.
With no cars passing through, it's ideal for children, who will find plenty of space to run around or rest in the grass and flowers of the fields, wild animals to observe (lizards, insects, birds) and our animals to visit in complete safety (horses, donkeys, chickens, goats).
Ideal for recharging your batteries in peace and privacy.
We look forward to meeting you in our haven of tranquillity, to immerse yourself in our magnificent garden and recharge your batteries.

The spots

We only offer three pitches, to give you maximum space.
The site is flat and shady, and you'll be camping under the trees of the small wood.
You'll be surrounded by hedges and very secluded.
If you prefer the sun, tents can be pitched at the bottom of the garden. The site is easily accessible. We accept tents, but only very small caravans that must be uncoupled, minivans and converted vans. No large campervans.
A field serves as a parking lot with direct access to the garden.

The sanitary facilities

Cold-water outdoor shower. Solar shower available on loan.
In-house shower available for 1 euro.
Hot and cold water sink in the garage.
For toilets, you can use those in the house, which are easily accessible. There's a well-water tap next to the pitches. But you can also use drinking water.
For added convenience, a jerry can, camping table and hand truck are available for transporting and storing drinking water as close as possible to your pitch.

The amenities

Electricity and water points (well water and drinking water) in various parts of the garden, night lighting around the house. Extension cords available.
Possibility of charging your cell phone in the covered courtyard. A table and chairs are available under the hundred-year-old lime tree. Internet access if required.
A locker is available in the freezer. Cool storage in the garage,

The activities

Boules pitch, basketball hoop, children's playground.
In the fields, you can listen to birdsong, dream under the magic of the stars, light a campfire or set off fireworks.
You can relax, read, paint, play (board games on loan), visit the animals (horses, donkeys, chickens, goats) and the vegetable garden.
The city of Nantes is close by: cultural visits, shopping... (public transport 5 km away).
The canal offers a wide range of leisure activities, as does the immense forest of Le Gâvre (fishing, birdwatching, walking and cycling). Trails leave directly from the house. We'll lend you a map. Covered open-air swimming pool nearby. Markets and organic market gardeners nearby.
I also give crochet, cooking and gardening lessons to children and adults (10 euros per person per hour). Retired teacher, I also offer to look after your children (games, cooking, manual activities...) for 10 euros per hour per child or 7 if siblings.
We have a donkey and offer rides in a harnessed cart for children and teenagers (15 euros per hour).

Rules

Cars must be parked in the parking lot. The garden is completely non-smoking. You may smoke outside the garden, but please do not throw your cigarette butts on the ground. Please keep the area you occupy clean.
We would prefer you to use ecological products for washing up and body care, and for the tents, think of a basin for your dishes.
Your pets are welcome, but on a leash and with respect for the peace and safety of people and our animals who live freely on the site.
Unless otherwise agreed, we expect you to arrive after 5.30pm and to leave before midday.
