Hello! We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful region.
We welcome hikers and bikers.

The setting

Thuin is a fortified town dating back to the Middle Ages. Traces of the past can still be seen, such as the boatmen's quarter and the hanging gardens. Our house is located on the banks of the Sambre, along the Halage, a stone's throw from an active lock.

The spots

Our small, long garden can accommodate one or two tents. The terrain is slightly sloping. The shelter includes a 100% homemade dry toilet. This is where you can plug in your electrical appliances and recharge your batteries.

The sanitary facilities

Dry toilet and basin for old-fashioned washing.

The amenities

Outdoor access to water. Possibility of sheltering in bad weather at the bottom of the garden. Table and chairs available. Independent access to grounds. Electric extension cord also available.

The activities

Bars, restaurants, streetcar museum, printing museum, inland waterway museum, visit to the ruins of Aulne Abbey, visit to the Collegiate Church of St Ursmer in Lobbes, St Roch walk on the 3rd Sunday in May.

Separate waste collection.
Dogs welcome (please pick up after them).
