Description

Unusual spot.
Terrace on stilts in the middle of the forest, 5 minutes from civilization.
If you're in touch with nature, this is the place for you.
La Terrasse welcomes you with its Khaïma-Mauritanian nomad tent.
Drinking water and rainwater are available.
The host lives independently off the grid. He'll be happy to share his experience with you. His living space can be considered a Sustainable Autonomous Base (SAB).

The setting

You're in the middle of a forest with a variety of species (arbutus, white oak, holm oak, hazel, white heather, etc.).
Depending on temperature and season, you may catch a glimpse of squirrels, deer or wild boar. As you're in the forest, you'll also be living with insects, the most frightening of which are mosquitoes.

The spots

A terrace on stilts, an ambiance, a Khaïma, a coffee table, 2 stools, a bench with its mattress.
Minimal bivouac-style comfort.

The sanitary facilities

Outdoor dry toilet.
Outdoor shower, either with bucket or with 8-liter stainless steel solar pressure module.
Free access and availability.

The amenities

Power banks, smartphones, tablets or laptops can be recharged at the guest's home.
Torches available.

Hiking, climbing, kayaking, river rafting, seaside 45 minutes away by car, Lac du Salagou 25 minutes away by car, Lunas water sports center 25 minutes away, Lac du Laouzas 60 minutes away by car, 2 municipal swimming pools 10 minutes away by car.

As the terrace is on stilts, I advise against young children or people with vertigo.
Access to the terrace is by foot over 100 meters from the secure parking lot.
A welcome briefing will be provided by the host.
