Description

Welcome to "Le Bivouac", Nat and Didier's home, at the crossroads of Saintonge and Cognac, straddling the Grande and Petite Champagne regions for Cognac lovers, the landscapes mark their identities gently in the transition from the Charente to the coast.
We're 1 hour from the beaches of Royan and La Palmyre, 25 minutes from Saintes and 15 from Cognac. The freeway from Poitiers or La Rochelle passes through Pons, 15 km away.
If, like us, you like small roads, there are plenty of them, and you can come from all over the world. The richness of our heritage and terroir is sure to make you want to stop off at our place...we're said to be friendly and bon vivants, welcoming and ready to share our good mood...

The setting

Very easy to reach, we're located along a quiet road just outside the village. We overlook farmland and vineyards. No street lighting after 10pm and very (email hidden)Convenient stopover.

The spots

Flat, regularly mown grass, part of which benefits from afternoon shade, easy access for classically-sized campers. A maximum of 4 vehicles guarantees plenty of space to rest and relax...

Less than a kilometer from the town hall, there's a dumping area and access to drinking water.

The activities

Siestas, like most outdoor activities in the countryside, are possible: walking and cycling, canoeing 8km away, Cognac 15km and Saintes 20km away, with all the attractions of these two tourist towns.

Other things

It's a great way to get to know the region from every point of view. I can act as a guide by bike or car.

Arrival and departure times must be during the day, if possible between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. for departures and between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the afternoon for arrivals.
