Notre Dame de Bellecombe is a ski resort that is preparing for the 2030 Olympics, with all the attendant consequences.
The village is located on the edge of the Tour du Pays du Mont Blanc and on the route des grandes Alpes (motorcycles, vintage car raids), relatively close to the roads to Rome and Compostela through the Alps.
Our chalet is a very small collective space, surrounded by trees. They are the pioneers of our project to create Europe's smallest arboretum!
So the temperature is mild all summer long.
We live at an altitude of 1200m. In winter, there can be snow from November to May, and temperatures between -17°C and +30°C.
The commune bans ALL FIRE during dry spells. Stores are only open until 7pm during the summer vacations.
For washing up, there's a tank to collect drinking water from the roof.
Dry toilets are available for sanitary purposes.
We practice selective sorting and composting.
Small extra charge for horse/horse accommodation.
