What to visit in the Var?

Between the abbey of La Celle which is a monument of the medieval period, the Basilica of St-Maximin or the chartreuse of La Verne, many visits await you. Different museums are also located in the heart of the Var including the Musée de la Citadelle in St-Tropez, the Gendarmerie and Cinema Museum in St-Tropez, the National Marine Museum in Toulon or the Musée des gueules rouges dedicated to the miners, the choice is wide. When to go to the Var?
If you would like to stay in the Var, we advise you to leave between April and the month of September. Indeed, it is during this period that the temperatures are the mildest or the warmest, but you will not be confronted by the cold. So, you can enjoy all the tours you want, and relax in the beautiful waters of the Mediterranean Sea. If you do not enjoy the crowd, avoid the summer season, especially the months of July and August.
