The solar shower was appreciated when the bathroom shower was inaccessible because the house was closed. It could be a little higher and it would be perfect.
However, there are no outside toilets on the property, and when the house is closed you have to manage to relieve yourself elsewhere. There were a lot of campers, which meant we had little or no privacy or peace and quiet, sometimes woken up in the middle of the night by neighbors or the loud noise of other campers. A small fridge is available. -

Two small drawbacks :
- lots of tents on a very small lawn, so quite a lot of prosmiscuity;
- no outdoor sanitary facilities and indoor ones open for a few hours during the day. -

Lauréline B.We had a very disappointing stay at Frederique's.
To begin with, before we even arrived, we received a phone call asking for our tent size (we were 3 sisters). We said we had taken the family tent (large tent with three compartments), and this seemed to be a problem because we had not given any notice of this choice of tent in advance, even though it was nowhere indicated that the tent size was limited. Once we arrived at the site, we were given a piece of land, in the middle of about ten tents. If there was enough space there would have been no problem, but in this case there were far too many people for the size of the garden, so no privacy or personal space. Beyond that, we were reprimanded twice about the showers. Indeed, we took one the first night (after a 10 hour drive in the middle of a heat wave). The next morning, we took another one because we knew that we were not going to be there that evening, we were going out. It was our only shower of the day. Same thing for the next morning, we were going to go out again in the evening, then leave the next day without taking a shower. As it was indicated 1 shower/night on the site, it was totally respected, but as we had not explained to Frederique in advance our organization of shower, she thought that we were going to take one the day of our departure, which would have made 4 showers for 3 nights. We explained her several times our logic, but that did not prevent her from taking us back at each shower that we took. Saying that there would not be enough hot water for everyone... it would be necessary to think of accepting less reservations in that case ;)
Very disturbing when we pay 60 euros per night for three people without even having the right to use the toilets or to charge our phones after a certain time.
In short, reception more than doubtful and we felt that Frédérique did not offer her garden for the pleasure to welcome people... -

We were surprised at our arrival by the promiscuity between the campers, but if everyone respects the rules, everything goes well.
There is clearly a lack of a water point/WC/shower/sink outside. But Frédérique is thinking about it. -

The garden was densely occupied with tents, but for us everything fit super and we felt very comfortable with Frederique with her warm manner. Her reference to the Lac d'Hossegor, a saltwater lake, has let us discover a second beautiful seaside resort in addition to the beach not far away.
